The Old Fashioned is a cocktail made by muddling sugar with bitters and water, adding whiskey, and garnishing with orange twist or zest and a cocktail cherry. It is traditionally served in an old fashioned glass. Jake's version of the Old Fashioned features an amazing Bywater Bourbon by Seven Three Distilling Co.

INGREDIENTS

1 Slice of Orange Muddled

1 OR 2 Maraschino cherries muddled

1 Jigger Bywater Bourbon

2 Dashes Angotura Bitters

1 Teaspoon of water

1 cup ice cubes

1 scant teaspoon simple syrup

RECIPE

Pour the simple syrup, water, and bitters into a whiskey glass. Stir to combine, then place ice cubes in the glass. Pour Bywater Bourbon over ice and garnish with the muddled cherries and orange slice.
